What does GNC mean?
GNC stands for gender-nonconforming. It describes gender expression that does not match the expectations usually attached to your gender. Many sapphics are GNC; the word describes expression, not a single identity.

GNC is about how somebody presents or moves through gender expectations. A butch woman can be GNC. A femme person can be GNC in other ways. Nonbinary and trans people may use the word too, or may prefer other language.
TGNC packs transgender and gender-nonconforming into one umbrella acronym used by clinics and community orgs. It is a grouping word more than a personal bio label.
Being GNC does not decide your orientation. Plenty of GNC people are sapphic; plenty of sapphics are not especially GNC.
