The Sapphic Sanctuary
About The Sapphic Sanctuary
A friendly corner of the internet for sapphic and queer people, creativity, conversation, and care.

Who we are
The Sapphic Sanctuary is an online sapphic forum. It's a place for lesbians, bisexual and pansexual people, trans women, and non-binary and gender-nonconforming people who feel at home in sapphic spaces. People still figuring out their labels belong here too.
Our tagline is A Haven for Sapphic Community & Creativity. We try to make the forum feel cozy on purpose. There is room for silly everyday chat, creative work, honest questions, and the occasional difficult day.
Why we made it
Too many social platforms turn every conversation into an argument or a performance. We wanted something closer to a shared living room: familiar faces, useful conversations, and space to take your time.
- Find conversations about identity, dating, creative work, media, and ordinary life without digging through an endless feed
- Make newcomers feel welcome without asking regulars to explain themselves over and over
- Point people to proper crisis and disability resources when a friendly reply is not enough
- Remove harassment, bigotry, scams, and exploitation before they take over the room
Who is welcome
The forum centers sapphic experiences without requiring everyone to use the same label. You might be newly out, still figuring things out, or years past needing a label at all. You might just want people to swap book recommendations with. Allies who listen well and follow our Community Guidelines are welcome too.
Get people's names and pronouns right, and respect a boundary when someone sets one. Honest questions are welcome. Treating somebody's existence as a debate topic is not.
What you can do here
Browse forum categories for introductions, identity and culture, access, life stages, advice, events, art, writing, music, and games. Start a new topic when something is on your mind. If somebody else has already started the conversation, pull up a chair and reply.
