Can asexual and a-spec people be sapphic?
Yes. Asexual, aromantic, and other a-spec people who are drawn to women belong under the sapphic umbrella. Sexual attraction is not the only kind of attraction that counts, and sapphic community is not only about dating or sex.

Asexual means little or no sexual attraction. That says nothing about romantic, aesthetic, or sensual attraction. An ace person who is romantically or otherwise oriented toward women can still be lesbian, bi, pan, or sapphic.
Grey-ace and demisexual people sit on the asexual spectrum too. When the attraction they do feel points toward women, sapphic still fits. Aroace sapphics belong as well; friendship, partnership styles, and culture are part of the community.
Wikipedia's overview of sapphism includes asexual and aromantic women attracted to women. The Asexuality Handbook makes the same point for gay and lesbian labels: orientation language can describe who you are drawn to even when sexual attraction is absent or rare.
