Helen
married 18 years. i'm 46. i've known for about two of those years and suspected for a lot more. he coaches our son's saturday soccer. the house is in both names. i have a friend with a guest room if the week goes badly. i'm not in danger. i'm stuck on the sentence.
when to come out to your husband
his mom's birthday is Thursday. i'm not doing it this week. i'm also not doing it in a restaurant where he has to keep his face polite. if you told yours while you still lived together, what day did you pick, and what did you clear off the calendar first.
what to say if you still care about him
i do still care about him. that's the part i keep tripping on. people talk like the only honest version is "i don't love you." i love him. i'm not in love with him, and i haven't been, and there is a woman i think about in the parking lot of the grocery store. i need wording that doesn't turn him into a fool.
