i know it's not a race. my brain did not get that memo.

half the women i meet have queer friends from uni, exes, a whole language i still trip over. i spent two decades married to a man i actually liked. now i'm googling "is this a date" like a teenager with a mortgage.

anyone else feel permanently behind, or does that fade.
