42. divorced last year. kids are teenagers so they know, mostly supportive, still weird sometimes.
dating feels like learning a language i should've started in college. friendships in queer spaces feel easier than romance which is… fine? confusing?
not looking for a pep talk exactly. just other people who left a whole life and are assembling a new one.

not divorced but left a long relationship with a man. the "assembling" metaphor is exactly it. some days i feel proud. some days i feel late.

friendships first was how i survived the first two years. romance came later and honestly that order saved me from rebound disasters.
