"please don't assume based on the haircut" said once, lightly, usually works. if they double down, they're showing you the product.

same but from the femme side — people decide i'll be high-maintenance or "the girl." projection is exhausting on every axis.

i introduce myself with what i actually like doing, not a role. "i cook / i climb / i cry at ads" resets the script faster than arguing labels.
