went to a meetup last weekend. lovely people. also i was one of maybe two brown women there and i felt it the whole time.
not asking white folks to fix this for me. more like — where are you finding BIPOC-centered sapphic spaces that aren't just instagram aesthetics. book clubs, dinners, anything.

i feel this in my bones. local diaspora queer groups have been better for me than general "wlw" nights. still hit or miss depending on city.

if you're open to virtual — there are a few reading circles that skew BIPOC. i can DM names if mods are cool with that / if you want.

same exhaustion. latina here. i started a tiny dinner thing with 4 friends and it grew slowly. sometimes you have to build the room.
