saw a white girl in my city put "stud" in her bio and my friends are heated.

i use stud for myself. i'm Black. how do people usually explain that this one's culturally specific without getting into a whole facebook fight.

    stud is Black (and often Latinx) masculine-of-center language. related to butch, not a free synonym. non-Black folks using it for themselves is usually not it.
