kid at pride asked what the pink and white flag with the flower was. i said sapphic flag. then she asked what flower and i said "...a gay flower?" and walked away in shame.
someone put me out of my misery.

violet. ties back to sappho and women giving each other violets. you're fine. "gay flower" is almost correct.
