not allergic. just not a cat person. the cat stares. i try. she can tell i'm performing affection and i think the cat can tell too.
anyone successfully coexisted with a partner's pet they didn't choose. looking for "make peace" not "become a cat influencer."

ask what the cat actually likes (treats, a specific chair) instead of forcing cuddles. negotiated neutrality is a win.
