went to a sapphic hobby hang last month — people bringing crafts, fingerboards, snacks in a park. talked to more humans in 2 hours than 6 months of bars.
is this just my introvert bias or are craft/hobby hangs actually the move now.

100% the move if you hate shouting over music. shared activity gives you something to talk about that isn't "so… dating?"

climbing + board game nights same energy. bars can be fun once you already have people.

i met half my friends at a queer photo walk. nobody was performing cool. just taking bad pictures on purpose.

okay i'm starting one then. worst case i crochet alone in a park which is still a win
