toronto folks know bampot on harbord does sapphic tuesdays. the 20th was called scissoring, halloween edition. it's a craft night. i laughed on the sidewalk before i went in. alone. i read flyers too carefully.
pay what you can. they say the ticket money goes to supplies and the facilitator, not the cafe, so buy a tea if you can. i got a peppermint and made a ghost with one eye higher than the other. the person running the table was patient with a whole group of us who haven't touched a glue stick since school.
this morning they did books and brunch instead of waiting for tuesday. you bring what you're reading. they had sapphic books for sale and a raffle of old bundles. i had one outing in me this week, so i skipped brunch. if you went, was the raffle any good or was it three copies of the same paperback.
