partner's 4 hours away by train. we see each other every 2-3 weeks. between visits it gets foggy — like are we building something or just maintaining.
what actually helps long distance feel like a relationship and not a subscription.

shared mundane stuff. grocery lists, voice notes while walking, watching the same dumb show "together." romance is nice but continuity matters more.
