we broke up amicably 4 months ago. same friend group. same group chat. she started dating someone new and now every meme hits different.
i don't want to make friends pick sides. i also don't want to perform being fine forever. how do people do the "still friends adjacent" thing without rotting.

mute the chat for a bit. not dramatic, just oxygen. show up to IRL stuff when you want, skip when you don't.

amicable doesn't mean instant ease. 4 months is still fresh even if everyone wants it to be tidy.
