i thought "rec" meant chill. some people are playing like there's a scout in the bleachers.
i'm there for cardio and flirting poorly. am i dragging the team by existing at this skill level.

rec leagues always have a competitive pocket. find the people joking on the sideline. that's your crew.

ask the captain what they need. sometimes "body in space" is enough. sometimes they want tryhards — then switch teams.
