the christmas elf comes out on halloween and i preordered it like a fool

emily banting has a book on yesterday's i heart sapphfic preorder page. the christmas elf. out october 31. lucie brown loses her job, goes back to a village called winterbourne, and takes an elf shift at the hall. frances delaney runs the trust. she's the old marquess's granddaughter, and she's looking after her mum while the blurb keeps threatening a flawless festive season.

i don't like christmas books. i preordered the audio anyway. the tantor listing says just under 10 hours. i will be washing dishes in an elf voice the first week of november, and the cover is going to have bells. i've made peace with the bells.
