kit goes to a film festival with her rich aunt. there's a brother and sister angling for the aunt's money. kit falls for henni tilney, who dresses like the decision is already made, and who goes odd every time the family comes up.
i'm about 40 pages in. kit is sharp about books and slow about the person standing in front of her. that's catherine, so it tracks. the festival is called bathtime and i sighed at it. then i kept reading on the bus.
