trad pub keeps handing me the same three vibes. indie has gems and also… books that needed another edit pass.
i don't mind supporting smaller authors. i do mind spending money on something that feels half-finished.
where do you actually discover indie titles that aren't just ads.

reader databases and "new this week" roundups help more than instagram ads. also looking at who other authors recommend.

sample chapters. always. if the sample has three typos i bounce.
